Cambridge Radical Feminist Network

We are a group for radical feminists at the University of Cambridge. As radical feminists, we believe that women’s oppression is rooted in their sex. Our goal is an end to the sexual exploitation of women in all its forms. We believe that a continued understanding of the term “woman” as a sex class is necessary for the preservation of women’s sex-based rights.

We meet monthly for consciousness-raising discussions on related themes. We also organise a termly discussion series with leading feminist thinkers.

We believe in liberal discussion and respectful debate around issues affecting women. But in today’s illiberal political climate, dissenting women are harassed and ostracised for holding heterodox views. For this reason, we understand that some of our members may wish to remain private.
